Calmer PMS symptoms
7 people found this helpful
Excellent! I began taking it on my gynaecologist's advice for prevention. The changes I’ve noticed are remarkable: PMS is now much calmer, I no longer feel enraged. The pain has subsided after starting these capsules, and I don’t require painkillers anymore. My skin has improved significantly, becoming softer and smoother with fewer rashes. My nails and hair grow faster, and they no longer break. I take this oil with breaks every two months and am extremely pleased with the effect. I recommend it!

I tried various methods including Chinese medicine and decided to buy this product to see if it would work. By the end of the course, my cramps had disappeared, and my skin had cleared before menstruation. Although the price is high, I switched to Source Naturals Evening Primrose Oil, and the effects seemed similar. The results are impressive!

Alleviates cramps

I finally made this purchase after being initially sceptical and was pleasantly surprised that it worked this month. I started taking it at the onset of PMDD symptoms, and throughout the week, it alleviated the cramps and joint pains I usually experience. What’s more, it doesn’t have a very strong smell or taste.

I ordered this gorgeous primrose for my mother, prescribed by her doctor to normalise hormonal levels due to months of severe headaches. The results were astounding! For the first time ever, my stomach did not hurt intensely during my menstrual cycle. It seems the oestrogen in primrose lessens the postaglandins responsible for my dreadful cramps. I recommend it to anyone dealing with similar issues, but only after consulting a gynaecologist. Solgar never fails to impress.

I ate for a month and a half, and my cramps disappeared. My brother suffers from menstrual cramping so severely that he faints every time he menstruates.
Leg cramps, often referred to as "charley horses," are sudden, involuntary contractions of one or more muscles in the leg. They typically occur in the calf muscles but can also affect the thighs and feet. These cramps can be quite painful and may last from a few seconds to several minutes. While the exact cause of leg cramps is not always clear, they can be triggered by factors such as dehydration, prolonged sitting or standing, electrolyte imbalances, or physical activity, especially in those who are not used to vigorous exercise.
Treatment for leg cramps often involves stretching the affected muscle gently, applying heat or cold to the area, and ensuring adequate hydration. For some, dietary adjustments to include more potassium, magnesium, and calcium may help prevent future occurrences. If cramps are frequent or severely debilitating, it may be beneficial to consult a healthcare provider for a more tailored approach. Understanding the underlying causes of leg cramps can lead to more effective management strategies, improving overall comfort and mobility.
Evening Primrose Oil is derived from the seeds of the evening primrose plant (Oenothera biennis), a native North American flowering plant known for its bright yellow blooms that open in the evening. This oil is rich in gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an omega-6 fatty acid that plays a crucial role in various bodily functions, including maintaining skin health and regulating inflammation. Due to its high GLA content, evening primrose oil is often used as a dietary supplement to assist with a variety of health concerns, such as symptoms associated with premenstrual syndrome (PMS), menopause, and conditions that involve inflammation like eczema.
In addition to its potential health benefits when taken in supplement form, many users also apply evening primrose oil topically to help improve skin health, reduce dryness, and soothe irritations. While some research supports its benefits, results can vary, and it’s always recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before adding any new supplement to your routine. Overall, evening primrose oil is celebrated for its versatility as both a dietary and topical addition, making it a popular choice among those seeking natural wellness options.
Evening Primrose Oil (EPO) is often touted for its potential health benefits, primarily due to its high content of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an omega-6 fatty acid. Some proponents suggest that EPO may help alleviate various conditions, including premenstrual syndrome, skin issues, and even joint pain. However, when it comes to leg cramps specifically, clinical evidence supporting its effectiveness is limited. Many leg cramps, particularly those occurring at night, are linked to factors such as dehydration, electrolyte imbalances, or certain medications, rather than directly to fatty acid levels in the body.
If you're considering using Evening Primrose Oil for leg cramps, it may be worth discussing with a healthcare professional. They can provide guidance tailored to your individual situation and suggest more established remedies or preventive measures, such as ensuring proper hydration, stretching before bed, or supplementing with electrolytes. While EPO may offer some indirect benefits through overall improved health, relying solely on it to address leg cramps may not yield the desired relief.

This is a fantastic product for women's health! Evening primrose oil positively affects the female body, alleviating cramping and breast pain during PMS and reducing hot flashes from menopause. I typically experience severe cramping, particularly at the cycle's start; however, since I started taking evening primrose at a dosage of 1300 mg, the pain began to subside. I have just finished one package and will order more. I believe every woman should keep this oil handy for emergencies. Additionally, it benefits the skin, reducing spots, which is crucial too!
